What are your most popular flavors?

Our most popular flavor is Original Kettle Corn (slightly sweet & salted).

Our second-most popular flavor is Caramel (slightly sweeter than Original, with a hint of salt).

Our most popular SAVORY flavor is Natural Cheddar, followed by Cheddar coated Caramel.

Our most popular SPICY flavor is Spicy Cheddar, followed by Spicy Cajun BBQ.

Where can I get Kettle Corn NYC popcorn?

We have relocated our food truck to the upstate Albany, NY (Capital Region area) due to Covid-19. Please see our planned locations: Locate Us on Social or scroll down to the Calendar on the bottom of this page.

Once we secure parking, we post our location on Facebook & Instagram.

As a mobile operation with one food truck, we are subject to traffic, construction, parking restrictions and any/all matters beyond our control that may prevent us from parking and/or may cause us to relocate. We will do our best to update everyone of the changes on our website and social media platforms. We appreciate your patience when this happens. 

Weather: We generally do not operate if the temperature is under 35 degrees or higher than 80 degrees and/or if there is precipitation in the forecast for the majority of the day. We will close early if there is precipitation in the forecast for the remainder of the day.

Shelf life
We do not use preservatives. On average, our kettle corn stays fresh for 10 days to 2 weeks in our sealed bags. Shorter shelf life in the summer; longer shelf life in the winter.

Put kettle corn in the freezer and it will stay fresh longer. It has a low moisture content, so it will not freeze. Shelf life in the tins is approximately 1 month.
   

How is Kettle Corn packaged?  

We offer three different size bags on the truck, which can also be purchased in our online store:

• Large (approximately 16 cups)
• Medium (approximately 11 cups)
• Small (approximately 5.5 cups)

We also offer gift tins in a variety of styles/colors in our online store only – we do not stock tins on the truck.

• 1 gallon – 1 flavor (approximately 16 cups)
• 2 gallon – 1 flavor OR up to 3 flavors for additional cost (approximately 32 cups)
• 3 gallon – 1 flavor OR up to 3 flavors for additional cost (approximately 56 cups)

Shelf life in the tins is approximately 1 month.

 

Want to hire our truck for your special event?

Popping on premises requires a 3-hour minimum rate at $500 per hour. This is where we bring the popcorn truck to your event within a 30-mile radius of Albany, NY, and hand-pop Original Kettle Corn in our small open bags for up to 750 guests for $1,500.

This fee includes our commercial business insurance coverage, travel, set up, breakdown and our 4-production staff and 1 manager.

OVER 750 GUESTS
We can accommodate groups over 750 guests and would require us to pre-pop additional bags in preparation for your event.
The total rate for 750 or more guests is $2 per person.  

UNDER 750 GUESTS
We can accommodate groups under 750 guests.
This is where we bring our small popcorn truck with 200 small pre-popped bags of Original Kettle Corn to be handed out by one of our staff for 1 hour – at our minimum rate of $500 per hour.  Pricing is based on a 15-mile radius from Latham, NY, and is subject to availability.

Client is responsible to secure landowner’s permission, (parking) and any required local ordinance permits.

Just need the Kettle Corn without the truck?
A very popular alternative is our small size bag (approximately 5.5 cups) which is the perfect individual giveaway.

Minimum order is 50 bags in increments of 50, with flavor increments of 25.

• $4 per bag for Original Kettle Corn, Salted Caramel, Movie theatre style salted, Cinnamon or Chocolate
• $5 per bag for Specialty flavors (Frutti Madness, Cherry Chocolate, Coconut, Spicy Cajun BBQ, Spicy Ranch, Chili Lime, Salt & Vinegar & Pizza) 
• $6 per bag for Cheddar flavors (White Cheddar/Natural Orange Cheddar, Cheddar coated Caramel, Cheesecake: white cheddar coated caramel, Cheddar & Spice, Garlic Parm)

We can ship to you via UPS Ground/Home OR arrange for you to pick up at the truck. 

How many people does a bag/gift tin feed?
In our experience, the average person eats 5-8 cups.
Our small bags (5.5 cups) is the perfect size for individualized portions.

Can I provide Kettle Corn NYC with special packaging for my event?
We have found that it works best if we provide you with kettle corn for you to re-package as you would like.

We do not use preservatives to prolong shelf life. Upon receipt, please keep in a cool, dry place.

At this time, orders are only popped and shipped once per week.

Orders can be delayed for any length of time by any/all matters beyond our control. When this happens, we will notify you via email.

We are not responsible for an incorrect or inaccurate address that you provide with your order that results in non-delivery. Additional Fee is required to re-ship.

Please do so. Prices are lower than our online store and you will save on shipping costs.

Please keep in mind that we are a mobile operation and subject to the weather and other conditions beyond our control that may prevent us from operating on any given day. When this happens, we will notify you asap.

Special orders
We have made hundreds of gallons of kettle corn for big events. We can make as much as you’d like, and special flavors, too, given enough preparation. Please email us at: info@kettlecornnyc.com   

Food allergies

Nuts:
We have tested all of our flavors for peanuts and are peanut free.

Although we do not use tree nuts in any of our flavors, we have not tested for tree nuts, therefore, some flavors may contain trace amounts of tree nuts.

Vegan Flavors:

• Original

• Regular (salt only)
• Chocolate
• Cinnamon

Gluten:

• We have tested all of our flavors for gluten and they are gluten free, except our newly specialty flavors: Garlic Parm, Pizza, Salt & Vinegar and Vegetarian Bacon Cheddar. We have not tested these for gluten.

We offer gift certificates online and at the truck. 

Can the Kettle Corn truck come to my neighborhood?
We are honored with invitations to attend festivals, street markets and other neighborhood celebrations throughout the area. At this time, we have one truck with a predetermined schedule.
